JACKSONVILLE, FLA.— Diesel Barbershop, located at Gateway Village at Town Center off Gate Parkway in Jacksonville, Fla., has gained popularity since the brand entered the market and opened their flagship location during summer 2019.
However, on April 3, 2020 , the COVID-19 Pandemic necessitated Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry to issue a Safer-at-Home order and instructed all nonessential businesses in Duval County to close in order to help stop the spread of the virus.
Restrictions were lifted for barbershops in Jacksonville on May 11, 2020. Since then, Diesel Barbershop’s flagship location has experienced a pent-up demand for the store’s offerings and overall experience. Patrons of the shop can not only receive a new haircut, but can enjoy a craft beer, relax and take in the shop’s nostalgic vibe. The Jacksonville shop is owned and operated by Eric Bauer.
